Mariell Amelie Lind Hansen
From growing up in Andøya, a small rural island above the Arctic Circle, Mariell got inspired at an early age to start pursuing photography.
In her personal work she continues to seek connections between nature and man. The photographs are balancing the surreal and the ordinary aspects of life.
Mariell moved to London in 2009, where she still lives and work.

In January 2018 Mariell opened up Benk + Bo in Spitalfields, London. The project is rooted in the love of community and the DIY spirit of Andøya and is an open space across three floors in a modernist estate where you can attend workshops, eat in the cafe or just station yourself for the day with a book or your laptop.
